When does the new squiggle arrive?
At midnight UTC, the same moment for everyone on earth. The Today screen counts down to the next one.
Why can't I see anyone else's drawings?
Because you have not submitted yours yet. The gallery opens the moment you do. It is the rule the whole game hangs off.
How do streaks and wriggle-outs work?
Your streak counts the days in a row you have submitted a drawing. Every seven days in a row earns a wriggle-out, and you can hold up to three. If you miss exactly one day, a wriggle-out covers it automatically and your streak carries on. Miss two days in a row and the streak starts again from one, wriggle-outs or not. Wriggle-outs cannot be bought.
I didn't finish a drawing in time
Nothing is lost. The unfinished drawing stays in your Archive, and the new squiggle is waiting on Today.
Something in the gallery shouldn't be there
Open the drawing, tap its menu and pick a reason. It is hidden from the gallery straight away while a person checks it. Nobody is told who reported it.
My drawing was hidden and I don't think it broke the rules
Open it in your Archive. You will see why it was hidden and a button that says "Ask a person to look at it". Tap it and a person will review it, usually within five working days. It stays in your archive the whole time. The Community Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed.
Your account
Signing in
Wriggled uses Sign in with Apple and nothing else. There is no password to remember and no email to confirm, and Apple does not share your name or email address with us. You can draw without signing in. You only need to when you submit.
Signing out
In the app, go to You, then Settings, then Sign out.
Deleting your account
Go to You, then Settings, then Delete account. Your drawings, your streak and your account are deleted, and this cannot be undone. Moderation records are kept as described in the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. You can also get there from inside Wriggled: You, then Settings, then Manage subscription.
Restoring a purchase
Go to You, then Settings, then Restore purchases. It uses the Apple account you bought it with.
It opens up your own archive: full-size views, replays of past drawings, and saving a replay as a video. It never changes the daily. Everyone gets the same line, the same five colours and the same brush, whether they pay or not.
Accessibility
Wriggled supports larger text sizes, VoiceOver, Reduce Motion, and light and dark mode. If something does not work for you, write to [email protected] and tell us what happened. We would much rather hear about it than not.
